Sakya Tsechen Ling

SAKYA TSECHEN LING, the European Institute of Tibetan Buddhism, was founded by Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoche and inaugurated by His Holiness Kyabgön Gongma Sakya Trichen Rinpoche on 5th November 1978. 
Following the passing of its founder on 14th April 2014, the Institute continues its activities under the guidance of Khenpo Tashi Sangpo Amipa. The institute offers a number of opportunities to follow the altruistic path laid out in a strong yet subtle line by Khenchen Sherab Rinpoche for almost 40 years.
SAKYA TSECHEN LING offers access to teachings, reflection and exchange, and meditation in its profound Tibetan acceptation, entirely focused on the benefit of all.
It offers regular teaching weekends, times of shared reflection and beneficial retreats.
It also organises seminars with some of the most renowned masters of the Sakya tradition.
With respect for the many religious traditions based on love and compassion, it enables everyone to move forward and give meaning to his or her life along an altruistic path that brings wishes for peace to the whole world.
