Situated in the rolling hills of southwestern Styria, 40 km from Graz, in the spa town of Bad Gams, Sakya Tsechen Changchub Ling was inaugurated on October 13, 2002, by the Venerable Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoche.
The heritage-listed former “Baderhaus” and the historic “Brabeck Weaving Mill,” along with a charming garden, have been made accessible to visitors and Buddhists from around the world following extensive renovations.
In addition to hosting Buddhist events, the centre also serves as a venue for promoting intercultural exchange.
