Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoche, and with the help of Geneviève Journet, one of his first disciples in France. Located in Toulouse for many years, it was relocated to the suburbs of Toulouse in 2017.
Phuntsog (ཕུན་ཚོགས་) means receiving the necessary foundations for a fruitful practice; and Ling (གླིང་) means the place, both external and internal, within which we can assemble the foundations and accumulate the virtues to obtain joy. The ultimate goal is to actively cultivate all that benefits all living beings.
Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa Rinpoche has given teachings and initiations here on several occasions, accessible to all. Since 2015, venerable Khenpo Tashi Sangpo Amipa has been continuing the work initiated by Khenchen Sherab and keeping the teachings of the Sakya tradition alive in the Toulouse region. Apart from these occasions, the group meets for study and meditation sessions.
