A very intense and comprehensive Dharma day in which His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche will impart to us the heart of the special methods of Tibetan Buddhism, opening the doors of Sutra and Tantra practices.

09.30 – 12.00 Conferral of Bodhisattva vows
In the morning, the Bodhisattva Vows will be conferred, the root of the Mahayana path, in which Bodhicitta – the mind of enlightenment that aspires and strives with determination to realise its enlightened nature for the benefit of all beings – is generated. The essence of the vows are love, compassion and Bodhicitta, which are the factors to be cultivated after receiving the vows.
14.30 – 17.00 Rigsum Gonpo Initiation, The Lords of the Three Families & Kargo blessing
In the afternoon the initiation Rigsum Gonpo, The Lords of the Three Families will be conferred. This is a special initiation that includes the three qualities of enlightenment personified by the Buddhas of the Three Families: Manjushri, enlightened wisdom; Avalokiteshvara, enlightened love; Vajrapani, enlightened power. The three enlightened qualities are indivisible and through the method of this Tantric initiation we will have the opportunity to cultivate them simultaneously in an essential practice that includes the Three Buddhas and their mantras.
To conclude there will be the short and powerful Kargo blessing in relation to Vajrakilaya to remove all obstacles and difficulties.
