With great joy and devotion we celebrate the birthday of these two great Masters who contribute greatly to spreading the precious Dharma universally.
We offer them all our prayers and aspirations that they may enjoy long life and good health.
In particular, we turn our hearts towards His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the important milestone of his ninetieth birthday. He continues to be a light in this world, tirelessly pursuing his activities for peace and for the benefit of all beings without exception. May the fruits of his incredible work soon lead the whole of humanity to a more harmonious, loving and conscious way of living.
With great auspice, these important birthdays coincide with the visit of His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin Ratna Vajra Rinpoche to the Sakya Centre in Trieste on 5 – 6 July, and will be celebrated on that occasion, where a good birthday cake will also be offered.

༧རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་གྱི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་གཅིག་འདུས་པ། །
gyalwa kun gyi tukjé chik düpa
Embodiment of all the victorious buddhas’ compassion,
དེང་འདིར་སྡོམ་བརྩོན་དམ་པའི་རྣམ་རོལ་གྱིས། །
deng dir dom tsön dampé namrol gyi
Manifesting here and now as a noble holder of the vows,
འཇིག་རྟེན་ཞི་བདེའི་དཔལ་ལ་འགོད་མཛད་པའི། །
jikten zhi dé pal la gö dzepé
To bring the splendour of peace and happiness to the world—
ཡོངས་རྫོགས་བསྟན་པའི་བདག་པོར་ཞབས་བརྟན་གསོལ། །
yong dzok tenpé dakpor zhap ten söl
Master of all the teachings, may your life remain secure!
