SAKYA TSECHEN LING is a meditation and study group in the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism that meets once a month on Wednesday afternoons in Zurich.
The association was founded in 1986, and the Venerable Khenchen Sherab Gyaltsen Amipa served as spiritual director for nearly 30 years, offering extensive teachings and initiations. Although it is a small group, it has had the honour of welcoming some of the most renowned masters of Tibetan Buddhism to Zurich and the surrounding area.
After the death of its founder on April 14, 2014, Khenpo Tashi Sangpo Amipa assumed spiritual leadership.
On January 1, 2025, the association was incorporated into the Buddhist Centre Thupten Changchup Ling in Arosio, Switzerland, and has continued its activities unchanged.
