SUMMARY:WINTER RETREAT on MEDICINE BUDDHA
DESCRIPTION:Guided by: KHENPO TASHI SANGPO \n\n\n\nDate: THU 26.12.2024 – WED 1.1.2025  \n\n\n\nTime: Thursday 26.12. at 16.00 o’clock – Monday 1.1. after breakfast \n\n\n\nPlace: On-site at Sakya Tsechen Ling\, Kuttolsheim & online through ZOOM \n\n\n\nLanguage: EN \n\n\n\nTranslations available: FR\, IT\, DE\, NL \n\n\n\n\nThe 2024 winter retreat\, dedicated to Medicine Buddha is open on-site and online.  \n\n\n\nDuring this retreat we focus on the practice of Medicine Buddha. In the beginning of the daily fourth session there will be teachings on the sadhana and the quality of Medicine Buddha. \n\n\n\nSickness is a common suffering of all living beings. However\, according to Tibetan medicine\, most illnesses are psychosomatic and\, according to Buddhism\, many types of mental and physical illnesses are actually generated largely by one’s unwholesome attitude\, and cannot be cured by conventional medicine alone; on the other side\, there’s a connection between wholesome thoughts\, your health and happiness. The Buddha taught a form of meditation for people suffering from diseases by using a practice of a sacred mantra and meditation based on Medicine Buddha.
